Welcome to SACKOBA St. Anthony’s College Kandy – Sri Lanka , a Catholic Boys School , was founded in 1854 by Rev. Fr. Felix Zoppi – a Franciscan missionary, who arrived in the Island then known as Ceylon during the period of British rule. The college has grown from strength to strength over the last 150 years, and has remained in the forefront of the Island’s educational and sports cradle with a host of past alumni going on to excel in local and international community. The Old Boys Association, which has been a major force in college development over the last 90 years, was formed on 26th December 1911. The “COLOMBO BRANCH” was formed in 1926 as an affiliated body of the original association, which is today referred to as the ‘Parent Body’. |
